Willie Croft - Willie will again be in his Dave Wasney's Holey Smokes BBQ, Amerikote Powder Coating, LRB Manufacturing, FK Rod Ends, #29 for the 2008 season. The team will focus on winning it's first California Civil War Championship, they also plan on making a run for the Silver Dollar Speedway Championship. When schedules don't conflict Croft will make as many Golden State Challenge races as possible. Look for the team to begin it's season February 22-23 with the World of Outlaws in Tulare, CA. Please visit www.williecroft.com or www.myspace.com/williecroftracing for more information.

Brandon Davis will make his main focus on running a winged 360 at Placerville and Petaluma Speedways with hopes of gaining enough experience with a winged car that he can return to Silver Dollar while attending the Chico State Engineering Program after graduating High School.  He will also have last year’s wingless car ready for a few races.  R.W. Davis Land Surveyors, Engineering Supply Co., North Bay Welding and Sparky’s Collision Center have stepped up to help him out.

David Silveria will be splitting driving duties once again this year with Greg Sherman.  This will allow Greg to focus more on his musical aspirations. They will primarily race @ Marysville Raceway Park and off dates will race @ Placerville Speedway. So far they only have 1 sponsor on board. That is their lifelong sponsor Charlies Hi-performance Machine in Tracy.

Jason York, the 2000 Silver Dollar Speedway Champion, will be returning to his home track in 2008. York, who will run the familiar family owned #25 sponsored by Associated Builders, is looking to run most of the Friday night 410 sprint car shows and selected King of California events at Chico.
The last few seasons York has been racing with the USAC/CRA non-wing sprint cars at Perris Auto Speedway in Los Angeles. The past two years Jason has driven a few non-wing spec races at Chico also. "It just makes sense to come back home and race this year," said York. "With my two kids, Drake and Dane, it's tough to keep going out of town each weekend on long trips. Plus I really like racing at Chico and the competition is just as good here as anywhere else."
As with most sprint car teams, the Yorks can always use sponsor help. If interested you can contact York Racing at (530) 514-9675

Keith Shipherd will be racing the #20 Wingless Spec Sprint at a variety of N.CA tracks with the help of our dedicated team and fantastic sponsors: Contra Costa Auto Parts, Jackl Masonry, RJB Engine Development, Tile Setters Toy Store and Van Buren Co. Keith also plans to continue supporting the Wingless Spec Sprints on his Spec Sprint news and information web site, www.specsprint.com. The team is looking for more sponsorship, we can offer a lot in exchange for your help. Please contact Keith at Keith@specsprint.com or Debbie at Debs628@comcast.net .

Brad Sweet will be driving for Kasey Kahne Motorsports in 2008 with the USAC NATIONAL MIDGETS & SPRINTS series on both pavement and dirt in the Mopar powered #49E  You can follow Brad by keeping an eye on the teams website www.kkr9.com

Jeremy Hawes will be running the wingless spec sprints for points at MRP.  His goal is to run as hard as he can and winning the championship.  Jeremy will also be making my debut in a 360 winged ASCS car this year.  He will run a limited schedule with the winged car.
